Mr. Nelson’s martial arts journey began at the age of 12 when he embarked on a transformative journey in Kenpo, right in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. Diligently honing his skills, he ascended to the esteemed rank of black belt, marking the beginning of an extraordinary path.
During his illustrious journey, he proved his mettle as a fierce competitor in the North American Sport Karate Association (NASKA) from 2006 to 2011, emerging as the celebrated NASKA Team Demo Champion in 2010.
A true testament to his skills, Nelson secured the 2nd place in the prestigious Red Bull Throwdown Tricking Competition in 2013.
With a wealth of experience under his belt, Nelson reached the pinnacle of his career as the Head Instructor at a Mixed Martial Arts school in Northern California holding this prestigious position from 2013 to 2022.
Beyond his accolades and teaching experience, Nelson’s true passion lies in making a difference in young lives through martial arts. Drawing from the transformative impact martial arts had on his own journey, he endeavors to give back and mold better human beings, capable of defending themselves while exuding compassion and kindness.
