The Mission of 1st Class Martial Arts is to offer our students superior service that promotes personal development, discipline, and respect, all while teaching them valuable life lessons. We strive to accomplish this thru physical fitness in the martial art forms of Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do. Our aim is to ensure that we maximize the growth and development of our students by providing first class service.
Our Story
In the Summer of 2009, Calvin Wang, founder of 1st Class Martial Arts was involved in a car accident that nearly took away his life. It was at that moment that Calvin realized that he had been given a second chance at life. All of his life, he wanted to help the community and open up his own business. This experience pushed him to open up 1st Class Martial Arts and to help the community by building stronger kids, who will become future leaders of their communities. “Life is temporary and we’re all just travelers in this world” -Sofo Archon
